Labels & Printing

Custom Labels, Stickers and Printed Inserts

Updated

Custom printing for packaging covers product labels, stickers, thank-you cards, inserts and other printed pieces that sit on or inside the package. Vorex prints custom labels and inserts to your exact size for brands in the USA and Canada that want product details and branding to match across every package.

Custom Labels, Stickers and Printed Inserts

What we print

Packaging is more than the box. Labels identify the product, stickers seal and decorate, and printed cards and inserts speak to the customer once the box is open. Printing these pieces alongside your boxes or bags keeps colors and branding consistent, and it means one contact handles the whole order.

Labels and stickers

  • Product labels for jars, bottles, tins, pouches and cartons.
  • Roll labels for hand application or labeling machines.
  • Sheet labels and stickers for small runs and hand application.
  • Seal stickers to close tissue, bags or boxes.
  • Die-cut stickers in custom shapes for giveaways and inserts.

Printed inserts

  • Thank-you and care cards placed in orders.
  • Instruction leaflets and product information sheets.
  • Hang tags for apparel and gifts.
  • Header cards that fold over and staple to a bag.

Label materials and finishes

Labels come on paper or film. Paper labels suit dry products and have a natural feel. Film labels, such as white, clear or metallic film, resist water and oil better, so they suit cosmetics, drinks, candles and products kept in a fridge or bathroom. Clear labels give a no-label look on glass. Gloss or matte lamination, foil and embossing are common upgrades.

Design tips

  • Measure the flat area of the container, not the full height, before choosing a label size.
  • Check which information your product category must show, such as ingredients, net quantity or warnings, and leave space for it.
  • For roll labels, tell us the core size and unwind direction if a machine applies them.
  • Bilingual labels may be needed for products sold in Canada; check current rules.

FAQ

Custom Labels, Stickers and Printed Inserts: common questions

What is the difference between roll labels and sheet labels?
Roll labels come wound on a core and suit labeling machines or larger runs applied by hand. Sheet labels come on flat sheets and suit small batches, home printing setups and hand application. Both can be printed in full color and cut to custom shapes.
Which label material is best for products that get wet?
Film labels, such as white, clear or metallic film, hold up better to water, oil and handling than paper labels. They suit cosmetics, drinks, bath products, candles and anything kept in a fridge. Adding lamination gives extra protection against scuffs and moisture.
Do product labels need to be in English and French in Canada?
Many consumer products sold in Canada must show certain label information in both English and French, and Quebec has additional French language requirements. The exact rules depend on the product type, so check current federal and provincial guidance before you finalize artwork.
Can you print thank-you cards to go in my boxes?
Yes. We print thank-you cards, care cards, instruction leaflets and other inserts in custom sizes that fit inside your boxes or mailers. Matching them to your box artwork keeps the unboxing consistent. We send a digital proof before print.
What are clear labels used for?
Clear labels have a transparent film base, so the container shows through around the printed design. On glass jars and bottles this gives a printed-on look. White ink is often printed behind colors so they stay visible on clear film.
